DCH Team is particularly recognized for its significant contribution to Kharkiv, with over USD one billion invested locally. This includes a pivotal role in preparing Kharkiv to host UEFA Euro 2012, with approximately USD 300 million invested in infrastructure upgrades, making Yaroslavsky the largest private investor in Ukraine’s Euro 2012 preparations. Key projects included the complete redevelopment of Kharkiv International Airport, the construction of the Premier Palace Hotel Kharkiv, and the renovation of Metalist Arena, along with a new football training center.
Beyond infrastructure, Yaroslavsky also significantly impacted Kharkiv’s sports scene as the former president of Metalist Kharkiv Football Club, leading them to national prominence and regular participation in European competitions.
